Built, delivered, in use.

Four projects that show how wide the range is — from the inventory system in a shop to the weather station that survives the winter on the mountain.

Inventory system for a bicycle shop

Client project · canton of Zurich · web application

A specialist shop managed items, supplier orders and workshop jobs in separate files. I turned that into a system that mirrors the actual workflow in the shop — from goods receipt to the completed service job.

  • Item and supplier management with stock levels
  • Order and workshop processing
  • Reports for purchasing and sales

WindBuddy KI 1.0 — radio weather station

Own development · electronics, firmware, manufacturing · deployed in the field

A self-sufficient weather station for launch sites: ultrasonic wind sensor without moving parts, solar supply with charge control, radio transmission directly to the pilots' devices and optionally via mobile network to the server. Developed from the schematic through the eight-layer PCB to the firmware — and in continuous operation since installation.

  • Own PCB in KiCad, manufacturing and assembly supervised
  • Solar operation with MPPT charge control and battery buffer
  • Radio on two paths, so that an outage does not mean data loss

Flight Buddy KI — cockpit app and server service

Own development · Android app and backend

An application that has to stay usable during flight: climb rates, map, sensors via Bluetooth, voice output. Behind it a server service that combines live positions, weather data and its own thermal forecast computed from weather models.

  • Mobile app with maps that work without coverage
  • Connection of flight instruments and sensors via Bluetooth
  • Server service with live tracking and its own forecast computation

Control for a tow winch

Own development · power electronics and radio link

Controlling a motor drive via radio, with operating data fed back to the operator's station. An example of tasks where mechanics, power electronics and software have to come together.
